1) The Magic Of Green Tea

Anger is one of the biggest reasons for stress and drinking a cup of green tea can help. It is a rich source of L-Theanine a chemical which is proven to calm the nerves and control anger.

If it is made a daily habit, it certainly could be a game changer as far as mind relaxing is concerned. All that is needed is to boil water, put some green tea leaves, boil it and drink it. Adding sugar needs to be avoided. 

2) Chewing Gum

A stick of gum which is fruity, minty is a great way to relieve stress and it has been proven time and again. Though it might be difficult to believe, it works very well by reducing cortisol levels in the body which contributes to stress and anger. 

3) Eat Honey

Honey is one of the most effective ways to fight many health conditions. Replacing stress with sweetness could be a great way out. It is a natural antibiotic and also is known to contain anti-inflammatory properties.

When a person is stressed and angry, the brain cells suffer from inflammation. Hence taking a few spoonfuls of honey mixed with lukewarm water can be extremely useful and calming the brain cells and bringing down temper levels quite significantly. (My 2nd favorite choice in relaxing my mind )

4) Meditation

Apart from some common food habits, meditation is considered to be one of the best ways to overcome anger, frustration and tension. Theres no need to climb mountains and sit on snow-clad mountain peaks and then meditate.

If you have a garden or backyard that is the best thing you can expect for meditation. Even if you do not have it, that is no problem. You could do it in your bedroom or living room.

All that is required is the will to do it and the mindset. You need not spend hours at length. Even meditating for five to ten minutes will give that much needed calming effect which in turn will lead to reduction of stress and anger. 

5) Hit The Bed

If you are in the midst of an emotional upheaval and find that your tempers are getting out of control, you must try some ways to beat it naturally. Wash your face with water if possible, wipe dry and hit the bed and sleep, even if it’s only for 30 minutes.

It will help a lot in calming the adrenaline rush and bring down stress levels. It is time-tested and proven. Trauma associated with tragic events can also be controlled with sleep and hence overcoming anger and de-stressing mind is very much possible. 

6) Deep Breaths

One of the best ways to relax is to just sit down take some deep breaths. It can help a lot in reducing blood pressure and bring down the heart rates which could be throbbing because of adrenaline rush.

Pranayama is a yogic method which could work even better. It is about breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth. 

7) The Magic Of Creative Visualization

Finally you must understand creative visualization in handling stress and it must be been experienced to be believed.

Thinking about those wonderful dreams and desires that are close to your heart is without any doubt one of the best ways to beat stress and calm the mind.

The entire visualization process could be on for a few minutes, but that is fine. It will have the desired impact and calms nerves and could also bring down blood pressure levels. (My 1st favorite choice)
